Good Knights Bed Building and Delivery
Good Knights is a non-profit, 501(c) (3) organization dedicated to serving low-income families in Lorain County through an empowerment model aiding with dignity. Beds for children are constructed through a two-step process. ‘Build days’ are made possible through Good Knights sponsors/donors who provide the raw materials for the bed components to be built. ‘Delivery days’ engage the community to further rally volunteers to assist, assemble and deliver the beds to families on a separate day. If sufficient funding is secured, recipients may also receive a pillow, sheet set and blankets when their bed is delivered.
Serve Opportunity:
Bed making involves sanding, drilling, and staining the beds using the easy to follow templates and instructions.
Bed delivery includes in-home delivery and assembly of the beds that were created in the previous week.

- October 18: Bed Delivery – 9:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Night to Shine February 13, 2026
Christ Church is thrilled to partner with the Tim Tebow Foundation to host an unforgettable evening of food, dancing, and celebration for our friends with special needs. Every year, more than 400 dedicated volunteers come together to make this magical night a reality.
Registration opens in late September—be sure to check back often for volunteer opportunities and join us in making memories that last a lifetime!
Rise In Love
Rise in Love is a people first, Christian based, all volunteer charity, working to provide support to families and individuals in need that are struggling right here in our local communities. They utilize 100% of every donation to fund programs that provide food, clothing, education, employment, transportation, shelter, childcare, and so much more, empowering people to transition from just surviving to thriving.
Christmas Gift Distribution
Since 2020, Rise In Love’s annual Christmas Joy for Boys and Gitls has become a beloved tradition of giving. With support from local businesses, Christmas trees across the area are decorated with wish tags from children in need.
Each year, the need—and the kindness—grows. In 2024, we delivered gifts to 1,000 children, made possible by generous volunteers and donors.
We’re now seeking volunteers for key roles, including:
Child Registration – Gift Staging – Gift Delivery
Whether you have a few hours or a few days, your time can help make a child’s Christmas unforgettable.
Help us spread joy—one gift at a time.
Food Distribution
One of Rise in Love’s core programs, Love in a Box, is a powerful safety net for families in need. Each month, this program provides 12–15 bags of groceries and essential items to over 400 local families — and we couldn’t do it without the help of dedicated volunteers like you!
We’re currently looking for volunteers to help fill the many roles needed to make this effort a success — from packing and sorting to distribution – your time and heart can help ensure no family in our community goes without the basics.
Join us and be the reason someone feels seen, supported, and loved.

You can be a part of this by volunteering to help inspect, sort and box food for distribution. Christ Church currently partners with this organization to purchase the food from Second Harvest that is then distributed monthly at our West Campus pantry.
