Love Week

Friday June 21, 2024 – Saturday June 29, 2024

Love Week is our annual service week at Christ Church and everyone is welcome to participate! We do this to “live out” Christ’s challenge to serve others and meet their needs with no strings attached. This June, you’ll have the opportunity to share the love of Jesus in a tangible way that best suits your (and your family’s) availability and time.

From on-site service projects to “shop and drop” purchasing opportunities to Intentional Acts of Kindness, there’s something for everyone. By blessing others, you will be blessed yourself!

FREE Love Week T-shirts will be given to every participant. Order yours today and wear it during your service project!

Spread the love by posting your photos on Instagram and Facebook.*

Intentional Acts of Kindness

Every time we show up and are kind the world gets better. God chose us to work in the world to do His good. Everyone could use more kindness. We recently heard the definition of kindness that says kindness is loaning someone your strength instead of reminding them of your weakness. It got me thinking about the ways we could loan our strengths to someone and not just show random acts of kindness but purposeful and intentional acts of kindness.

So this love week we are inviting you to join us in your own way and on your own time. How can you, your family or even your life group show intentional kindness to others and make a difference in someone’s day. Could you bring cookies to a neighbor, write an encouraging card, pay for someone behind you or clean the kitchen for mom and dad.

We have a list of 40 ideas on how you can show intentional kindness! Don’t be limited by what you read here though, let your creativity shine!

See the List!
