What?
A new 15,000 sq.ft. church home for West Campus will be built on our 22-acre property at Archer Rd and Route 10 in Eaton Township. This four-million-dollar project will allow us to serve 1,000 people every weekend.
Why are we building a new facility?
Embarking on building a new facility is part of an “Adventure of Faith” — a time for spiritual and physical growth through prayer, sacrifice, and community. Our current building limits our growing church with its 500+ in-person attendees and many more online. To continue reaching kids, students, adults, and families, we’re creating space for future ministry and trusting God to use our church to impact lives for the next 100+ years.
When will we break ground and how long will construction take?
We are working on permits and bids now, aiming to break ground this summer. Construction is expected to take about 12 months.
Where are we regarding our financial goals for this project?
The initial $1.5 million dollar goal has been reached through a combination of generous giving and the sale of our South Abbe building to New Community Church. Because of rising construction costs, we encourage continued giving and pledges using the “West Campus New Building Fund” tab on all our giving platforms. Thank you for your ongoing generosity.
When is our final celebration Sunday at our South Abbe building?
Our final Sunday at South Abbe Rd. is Sunday, June 15! Join us as we celebrate all that God has done in this space. We look ahead with faith to what He’ll do next. The church isn’t a building—it’s the PEOPLE!
Where will we meet during the interim?
We’ll meet at PEP Willow Creek, 11600 Durkee Rd, Grafton, OH 44044. Services will be at 9:30 and 11:00 a.m. starting Sunday, June 22.
How can I help during this time?
- Pray – ask God’s blessing, protection, and wisdom for every step of this adventure.
- Serve – we can only do this together!
- Give – a one-time gift or pledge makes a difference!
- Share your story – we want to celebrate during these next eight weeks all God has done at South Abbe Rd.
- Be flexible and resilient – this adventure is challenging but worth it!
