Are You Carrying More Than You Were Meant To, or Does it Feel Like Too Much to Carry on Your Own?
We understand how life can sometimes feel overwhelming or confusing. And sometimes, we don’t even realize how much we’re carrying until we slow down and look. You might find yourself:
- Feeling the heaviness of life.
- Struggling to set boundaries or say “no”
- Holding on to grief, regrets, or pain from the past
- Feeling anxious, depressed, lonely, overwhelmed—or uncertain about what’s next
- Feeling spiritually distant from God
- Walking through marriage or relationship challenges
- Facing career stress, financial strain, or a major life transition
- Seeking a sense of hope
- Longing to grow, heal, and reconnect with your true purpose
If you’re nodding your head—or feeling a quiet “yes” —this might be the moment to reach out.
Through coaching and counseling, we help people like you move forward in peace, purpose, and alignment.
What is Coaching?
Coaching is a forward-focused, collaborative process designed to help you move from where you are to where you’re meant to be. While deeply compassionate and rooted in grace, coaching centers on growth, clarity, and practical action. It’s about helping you name what matters, overcome what’s holding you back, and take intentional steps toward your goals. Together, we walk in partnership—honoring your story while unlocking your full potential.
What is Counseling?
Counseling is a therapeutic process that often approaches clients with a clinical lens as counselors are trained to investigate, diagnose and treat mental health conditions. It is important to know that not all conditions are permanent, so gaining skills for instilling hope and moving toward sustained recovery, insight and new thought patterns is essential.
Counselors are required to design treatment plans to meet the client’s desire for change and positive outcomes. A history of the client’s upbringing and key life events helps the therapist identify root causes to choose the best counseling approach for their unique issues. Plans incorporate action toward their future best self with healthy doses of support and challenge. Post traumatic growth is often a powerful outcome of counseling.
Both coaching and counseling are designed to empower individuals towards a more fulfilled and balanced life.

Hank Jontony
Hank graduated from Ashland Seminary in 2020 with a Masters degree in Clinical Counseling. Since then, he has worked as a counselor part time in between his full time job as owner and master barber at Ledgewood Barber Shop.
Through years of youth ministry and volunteering at Christ Church, Hank discovered his passion for counseling through the simple act of sitting and “listening” to people. Something incredible happens when we feel understood and seen by God and the same rule applies to us as people. He finds great meaning in helping people through anxiety and depression and has made a significant impacts in helping other men and adolescents reach their full potential in Christ.
When not working, Hank enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. Most of his free time is spent coaching his boys in wrestling and soccer, attending their baseball games, and spending time outside being physically active. Hank also enjoys paddle boarding, working out, ultimate frisbee, and writing.
Please be advised that our counselors do not do emergency care or treat those who are an immediate threat to themselves or to others. If you are experiencing an emergency please contact 911 or go to the nearest hospital. Also, please understand that we may, at times, feel the need to refer clients out for higher levels of care that are beyond our capabilities to treat effectively in a church setting.
It is our hope that we may serve you. It is our prayer that you will find the counselor that best serves your need.
