“The Four Faces of Christ Church”
Dear Friend,
In Exodus 35:5, the Lord instructed Moses, “Take from among you a contribution to the Lord. Whoever is of a generous heart let him bring the Lord’s contribution: gold, silver and bronze …”
This is an excellent paradigm for the important challenges we have as a growing church:
- To welcome unchurched people to the meaningful activities of our church, we intend to purchase digital sign.
- To accommodate the visitors who come to our church Sunday after Sunday, we intend to add sixty new parking spaces.
- To respond to the realities of the Information Super Highway – the Internet and Cyberspace – we intend to rebuild our Web site.
- To care for people who experience life tragedies, we intend to refill our benevolence fund.
Our single strategy for funding these important projects is to ask people in whom God creates a generous spirit to bring a special contribution during the month of August. This offering in August will replace our annual Christmas offering.
Please pray with me about participating in helping God’s lost kids return to our Heavenly Father as Christ Church shows a welcoming, accommodating, responding and caring face. Thank you.
