family ministry logoAt Christ Church, we believe that parents are the greatest influence in a child’s life and we want to support them in this role. Children grow when mom and dad are intentional about faith in the home. Parents thrive when the church supports and equips them. With this in mind we strategize ways to engage children from birth through high school.

We exist to partner with families to love and empower our babies, kids, and students to be champions for Jesus Christ.

What To Expect

A baby’s adventure begins here! We strive to honor God by giving His children some of their first examples of Christ’s love in a safe, engaging and interactive environment. We move babies and toddlers to the next level when they are developmentally ready. This generally occurs around the age of 2.

Children learn through fun activities at this stage. We use a variety of hands-on activities to create a fun environment and to instruct children through play. We are excited about the opportunity we have to model Jesus and will teach them that:

    1. God loves them
    2. God made them
    3. Jesus wants to be their friend forever.

The adventure kicks into overdrive at this stage! At Kid-Venture we believe that teaching the Bible should never be boring because life with God is an awesome adventure. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three essentials stick:

      1. I need to make the wise choice.
      2. I can trust God no matter what.
      3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

In Diesel we go all out to win a student’s heart and mind for Christ. Our middle school program uses exciting and relevant teaching to “fuel” passion in the hearts of our students. We want to teach kids that they are never too young to stand up for what is good and right in their homes, schools, neighborhoods, and communities. We use a curriculum called  252 Basics, which follows an intentional strategy that highlights character studies and passages of Scripture that personalize 36 virtues in your student’s life. We want to help our students discover who Jesus is, and then show them how to put their faith into practical action.  252 Basics is founded on Luke 2.52: And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.

These are three core truths your students will learn throughout their time in Diesel

  1. I can trust God no matter what.
  2. I need to make the wise choice.
  3. I need to treat others the way I want to be treated.

Our students will learn in large group through games and interactive teaching.  They will connect in small groups where they can connect with mentors, make friends and grow doing life together.

Our Middle School program exists to help middle schoolers experience three things: wonder for who God is, discovery of who He created them to be, and passion for loving others. Everything we offer is designed to help middle schoolers begin to take ownership of their faith through these three basic truths:

  1. I will love God because He will never stop loving me.
  2. I will follow Jesus because He knows me better than I know myself.
  3. I will live out God’s story so others can know who Jesus is.

In Fuel we strive to help move students from learning information about God into experiencing a life of deeper faith, stronger relationships, and wiser choices.

Our services include awesome live music, exciting and relevant teaching, and small groups where students can connect with mentors, make friends and grow doing life together.

We offer activities throughout the year where students have opportunities to serve and have fun.

Our teen service is designed to relate to a student’s everyday life in a way that will support the unique situations they encounter and encourage a close relationship with God. Life with God is an adventure and so we model ways to look to and trust God in every situation. Christ Church has a community of students from surrounding cities that will “Ignite” souls for Christ.

Our teen service is designed to give students the lasting understanding that:

  1. I am created to pursue a relationship with my creator
  2. I trust what Jesus did to transform who I need to become
  3. I exist to demonstrate God’s love to those around me
