At Christ Church, we desire to be a church that provides outstanding care for one another and for the community around us. No matter what our situation, there are times when we have a need or we desire to meet the needs of people around us.
Together our Community Care department features a network of ministries that are making a difference in people’s lives and providing much needed support and guidance.
Support and Recovery: The very best place to turn when we need help is to the support and encouragement of others who have been down the road we have found ourselves on. From, Overcomers Outreach, our flagship recovery series, to support groups like GriefShare and DivorceCare; we have a place for you to find the strength you need.
Marriage: Whether it is marriage preparation connected to an upcoming wedding, marriage enrichment strengthening the connection a couple shares, or some help when relationship struggles arise, our Marriage ministry have opportunities for you and your spouse to connect deeply with God and with one another.
Spiritual Care: When illness or a crisis hits, our Spiritual Care team is available. Making a hospital visit, scheduling a counseling appointment, helping to coordinate funeral arrangements; call on us if there is anything we can do to serve you and your family.
Weddings: The mission of the Marriage Ministry is to prepare couples to enter into marriage with the goal of a life long commitment. We strive to help engaged couples develop an awareness of strengths and growth areas. Couples will learn to share feelings and ideas, work together, and communicate more effectively.
Funerals: When we lose someone we love, it is difficult to know where to turn for guidance and support. At Christ Church, it is our hope that we can come alongside you at this trying time and help you navigate through the emotions you are experiencing, as well as the details that need to be addressed as you plan necessary arrangements.
Community Outreach: Our Church is committed to being a source of hope in Northeast Ohio. To do this we mobilize our Life Groups to build strategic partnerships with community organizations, and we are partnering with Compassion International to serve partner churches internationally.
